Search engine optimization companies often see e-commerce (shopping cart) web sites as an obstacle to their search engine optimization platform. Shopping carts are generally template based and most content is pulled from the database.
Its not the typical static HTML web site that is seen in the SEO training text book, but is it really possible to optimize a shopping cart? Well, maybe.
Not all shopping carts are created equal. Most shopping carts written in ASP, PHP, or related languages, can be optimized within the limitations set forth by the program. All of them allow for content pages to be added to the site and some even allow for shopping cart exporting to an HTML format.
There you have it, you have content, link population ability, and opportunity for adding fresh content. But, we are just beginning.
Some problem languages for shopping carts include .cfm (Cold Fusion) and .mvc (Miva Merchant). Both file types are not easily indexed by the search engines so this should be considered before starting your shopping cart project. With that said, some search engine optimization companies may be able to work out a plan to work around your existing shopping cart.
Aside from search engine optimization, another great means of marketing exist for shopping cart owners. Online product placement. Getting your site listed on places like Shopping.com, Bizrate, KCove.com, and Froogle is simple and affordable. Froogle is a free service but your product feed must be updated every month. Other price comparison sites have initial deposits of $50-$200. These sites work on a pay per click platform which have set price per clicks for various categories.
Using price comparison web sites should not be done instead of search engine optimization but rather complimentary to your search engine optimization efforts. For more information, talk to your search engine optimization company.

Easy Food For Camping - 7 Tips To Make This The Best Trip Yet!Posted by: wilbur48075 in UncategorizedAhhh the great outdoors. You know, you’ve got to love it… crystal clear night sky, crisp fresh air, communing with nature. It doesn’t get much better than this does it? Or does it?! If you’re like me, you’re always looking for ways to make your camping experience more enjoyable. Well, how would you like some really handy tips on how to make your camping cuisine just plain easy?! (Well as close to easy as is humanly possible?) So here we go, Easy Food For Camping 101: 1) How many times have you cooked a burger, only to find that it hasn’t been done evenly? Well, no more! All you need to do is make a smallish hole in the center (like the size of your pinky) and when it cooks the hole will disappear (because eating a donut-shaped burger just isn’t right) and it’ll be cooked much more evenly! 2) You’ve heard about the Hobo Meal right? No?! Well you take your heavy-duty foil (an essential to any camping endeavor), your meat, peppers, potatoes, onions, corn etc. and pile it all into the center of the foil. Now, pull up the corners into a sack and twist that sucker closed. Throw it onto the coals and wait for some hobo-inspired tasty goodness! 3) So you’re into your tuna salad huh? Well here’s an idea: instead of mixing all the ingredients in a bowl, just throw them all into a sealable plastic bag, remove the air and just give it a shake to mix the ingredients. You can then just cut off a corner and squeeze out just the amount you need for your salads, sandwiches etc. But don’t stop there, think how many other foods you could use this idea for… the possibilities are endless! 4) Hey, did you know that the hidden power of ice-cubes can be used to clean your grill. That’s right, just after you’ve finished with the grill, put on the ice cubes and as they melt, the grease and dirt will fall right off. So take that evil grease-spawn! (If you really want to go to town, use our friend the handy half-an-onion to finish the job). 5) Washing up?! Yep, you know, I knew there had to be a down-side to all this tasty-food goodness. But there is a way to make it easier - if you rub some bar soot over pots and pans it helps prevent soot from building up (campfire cooking) thus making it a breeze to clean! Alright, alright, not exactly a breeze, but much, much easier! 6) Speaking of which, you know when the bar of soap gets too small to use by a normal human? Don’t throw it away - make sure you’ve got a nylon stocking which you can put it into. The nice thing about this is that nylon lathers up really well AND you’re able to tie it to a tree close to the washing up area, so you’ll always have soap at hand. 7) So it’s your last day, huh? But you’ve got all these leftovers! Don’t worry about a thing. On your last day you can take all your leftovers and whack them into one tasty omelet (or a few different kinds of omelette’s)! And hey, presto! No leftovers. So there you have it, some really useful, easy food for camping tips. Hope you enjoyed them, and remember, that’s just the tip of the marshmallow… there’s a whole lot more, just waiting for you! So what are you waiting for! Darren Scott is a lean, green, camping machine, who loves the great outdoors. So head over to Easy Food For Camping for more great tips and ideas on how to make your food for camping as easy as possible (and even more tasty!). http://www.squidoo.com/easy-food-for-camping/ Republican Candidate John McCain John Sidney McCain was born in 1936 into a family that had a long tradition of serving in the U.S. Navy. As a young boy, he moved with his family from naval base to naval base. He graduated from the Naval Academy at… Here is the case study the ferrets that begs the question: environment influences to raise a child or genetic predisposition to raise a child? I have a friend who several years ago had her child kidnapped out from under her from the other parent. Basically, it was a really long weekend that turned into well over seven years. The child was taken to Florida and then years later appeared on a website near to her home in Ontario. She had once tracked him down in Florida but the school told the father which meant he pulled up stakes. She had him in her sites. Even before she picked up the phone, filed all the paperwork as she still had full custody, the child phoned an uncle who gave her number to him. She was very concerned this child would have been negatively influenced against her. He had lived on the run, away from any of her family the entire last seven years. Would he grow to be a good kid because of his environmental surroundings? He later told her that they were less than ideal with some of his father’s girlfriends semi-starving him or being left with a medical condition too long such as a broken arm? Not ideal at all for environmental. He comes from a wonderful lady, that’s for sure but his father didn’t seem to get fatherhood by reports I’ve heard until his own parents wanted the child. But in the end, she was amazed at what a fabulous child he was and how he mostly took everything in his step. So how then did this result come from a child who was pretty much mistreated by the other parent and that parent’s girlfriends? Genetic or environmental, I asked. What made this child turn out in spite of his upbringing. “No, no, no,” she said. “You think that he was raised by his father. He wasn’t. I had him until he was six. That’s how long it takes to raise your child up the right way.” And experts are on her side. For many years, experts in the parenting years said 0-3 were the most critical years of development but later around 2001 added that 0-6 years of age were the most important. Communities across our country have become involved with this time in children’s lives through programs of all kinds. In the past, these children would have been met at the school door. So yes, her point has a lot of belief from the academic and social community. If you don’t have any sense of control, then oh well, that’s going to pretty much continue past the age of six. If you do, it too will continue. Now, not every parent/child relationship is ideal in certain years but on the whole, if you can count most of those years as good ones where you see your child grow-up, then they were good times. I see many parents struggling these days with the yoke of full-time jobs that don’t seem to come with much in terms of vacations. With both parents working, parents can be seeing their children for as little as a half-an-hour a day. And stay-at-home parents discover the burden of trying to get everything done while raising children. How much quality time does a stay-at-home mom have to sit down and influence their children? I ask you to look at your circumstances as a parent and just accept them. Reality is reality. The question is, can you change the trend of your parenting style? If so, these are the areas to improve: 1. Rituals and routines–Want to spend less time fighting with your children? Stick up illustrations of everything that needs to get done in the morning and in the evening. Give them a checklist to fill in. Praise them for their success. Truthfully, as an adult, we no longer rebel against doing our teeth. That’s because it is routine. 2. Set time aside for each child–This is important stuff. A child banks their self-esteem on what you think of them for many, many years. If you child perceives that they aren’t worth the time, then expect them to have some issues around their self-esteem. If instead, you take a solid ten minutes a day to spend with them. It can be sitting on the carpet playing with your baby or taking a walk with your oldest or playing dolls with your child. Each child gets your time individually once a day. This applies to other parents too. If you feel you don’t have time to spend doing this, then intergrate the individual time into chores. There’s no reason your child can’t dry the dishes or help you put on the wash. But make it their time by talking to them. 3. Meet their spiritual needs.–Talk about their family, where they came from, stories from when you were little and fill them with the sense that they belong. 4. Get a copy of the ‘Desiderata’ for yourself. This poem reminds each and everyone of us how to be a successful person and to put things into perspective. In freeing you own spirit, you will be a better parent. Fill yourself up spiritually by seeking out support groups for families. Never isolate yourself from your community. 5. Outings–Play as a family as much as you can. Remember always that there will come a time when they want their friends over. Steal one day a week just for your family and put a special stamp on it that says nobody else, just your family can have that day. Good luck in your parenting. GOLF GRABS BULGARIA! At the present time there are only three golf courses in the whole of Bulgaria: one at Elin Pelin, near the capital, Sofia, and two owned by Air Sofia. These are located at Ihtiman, opened in 2000, 40km from Sofia, and at Sliven, opened in 2004, 90km from the Black Sea. Because of the increasingly rapid rise in foreign interest in Bulgaria recently, several more golf courses are proposed. One of these will be located at Razgrad, in the north-east, about 90km from the Black Sea. More are scheduled to open in the next few years: two at Kavarna and one at Primorsko, near Sozopol. Mountain and ski areas will be represented by a golf course in the ski town of Bansko this year, and a very large golf complex between Kostenets and Borovets, the country’s foremost ski resort. This is scheduled for 2007, the year of Bulgaria’s entry into the European Union, and will be located at Dolna Banya, already near Bulgaria’s first golf course at Ihtiman. Bulgaria Properties Ltd has purchased almost 6 acres of prime development land adjacent to the proposed golf course at Dolna Banya. The plans are to construct about 220 apartments around a comprehensive sports complex, with access to the golf course by a short footpath. The amenities on site are to include tennis, volleyball, squash, badminton, lawn bowls, boules (boccia), shooting, archery, croquet, mountain biking, and fishing nearby. Indoor facilities will include a 140-seat main restaurant and cabaret stage, a huge main bar (perhaps the largest in Bulgaria), a sports bar with projection TV, snooker, pool, table football, table tennis, a Chinese restaurant, Indian restaurant, fast food cafeteria, pizzeria, gymnasium, sauna, massage parlour, clinic, chemist, sports shop and minimarket. 5 Floor Wine Rack Designs That Protect Your Wine From ToddlersPosted by: wilbur48075 in UncategorizedMany parents begin child proofing their home before their little one even gets on their feet and with good reason. Small children need to be safe from anything that may put them in any danger. It is your responsibility as parents to make sure their environment is as safe as possible. This does not mean you need to get rid of your wine collection. In fact, here are 5 floor wine rack designs that protect your wine from toddlers. 1. Wrought Iron Wine Jail - This unit is a perfect example of a floor rack wine holder. They come at a height of approximately six feet. It can hold approximately 100 bottles and padlocks for little ones safety. This is sure to give mom and dad piece of mind that their baby will not find their way into the wine cabinet. If you have a hefty wine collection this is a perfect solution. 2. Wooden Wine Rack - You can choose to put up a wooden wine rack with the lockable door. By using the non-chip paint, you ensure even more that your child is safe from any thing that is harmful to them. Some people like to bolt the racks either to the floor or wall, depending on height and weight to ensure that your little one cannot pull it over and either hurt themselves or simply break all your bottles of wine. 3. Portable Wine Cellar - There is a long-term solution for those that have a wine collection they would like to store in a toddler proof climate control mechanism. This is ideal if you have no actual wine cellar but still want the collection. Choose not only a wine cellar that is capable of holding a collection of about 100 bottle of wine with the lockable door to keep your little one out. An added bonus is an alarm if it is open more than a few minutes and a childproof temperature control. This portable wine cellar is one that your wee one will not push buttons and set your temperature of wine from a nice chill to a hot summer day. 4. Countertops for Floor Racks - If you budget does not allow for a large rack with lockable doors to protect your son or daughter try a small portable floor rack. GILBERT Gottfried had a hard time being heard at noisy Meatpacking eatery Pastis as he was being interviewed by comedy writer Jeffrey Gurian and Comic Strip owner Richie Tienken for the book they’re doing on the history of the laughs club where… 200 Years of Charles Darwin It was at Down House that Charles Darwin worked on his scientific theories, and wrote ‘On the Origin of Species by Means of Natural Selection’ - the book which both scandalised and revolutionised the Victorian world. Today the house remains much as it was when Darwin lived here. On the 13 February 2009 Down House will reopen after a few months conservation work with a new exhibition celebrating the bicentenary of the birth of Charles Darwin and the 150th anniversary of ‘On the Origin of Species’. During a visit you will enter the study where ‘On the Origins of Species’ was written, get a glimpse of family life in the ground floor rooms, audio tour narrated by Sir David Attenborough and relax with a cup of tea or coffee in the cosy tearoom. Kennet’s 5000 year treasure hunt As you may not know where this area lies, find Bath on your map and then go east to Chippenham, Devizes and Marlborough. It is a place where you can delve deeply into past centuries, visit ceremonial landscapes and hills that are steeped in mystery myth and legend. Here you will find the World Heritage Site of Avebury which was built in around 3000 BC. Unlike Stonehenge, you can touch and feel the stones that surround this Neolithic spot. If you allow enough time, you can also take instruction in the ancient art of dowsing, prior to or after a traditional ploughman’s lunch in the Red Lion pub which is located INSIDE the ancient stone circle. It is also reputed to be one of the most haunted pubs in the south west with Florrie, being that its most well known ghost. The well she is supposed to have been thrown down after being murdered can be seen inside the lounge bar, so no misbehaving while you’re there! Proof that mankind has always had an urge to leave an impression can be seen in the White Horses which have been cut out of the chalk on the Wiltshire Downs. The story behind each one is fascinating. Another site of mystery and legend is the West Kennet Longbarrow, which is one of the largest Neolithic burial tombs in Britain and the nearby Wiltshire Heritage Museum in Devizes houses the world renowned Bronze Age collection from the barrows surrounding Stonehenge and Avebury. The Black Swan in the Market Place in Devizes goes back to the 16th century and has an interesting past and was featured on Living TV’s “Most Haunted”. With prior notice you can roam the cellars and search the blackness for orbs, detect energy and electro-magnetic fields. If you are seeking thrills of a different kind there is plenty of paranormal activity in the area. After a visit to the Back Swan, take a Ghost Walk around the town. This is NOT for the faint hearted and you will need that drink at the end of the evening… Hastings Old Town Just round the corner from the caves and shore lies Hastings Old Town, home to many famous smuggling gangs including Ruxley’s Crew and the Hastings Outlaws. They were a violent bunch and in 1768, 13 of Ruxley’s gang were hanged for their part in the gruesome murder of the master of a Dutch ship, off Beachy Head, near Eastbourne. The Old Town is packed full of narrow streets, unusual shops and buildings. Its smuggling legacy remains with the annual bonfire celebrations during Hastings Week, where bonfire society members don the outfits of either smugglers or the revenue officers tasked to catch them. Mary, Queen of Scots’ house Chartley Hall was recreated in the Armoury and other state rooms were used for Sir Francis Walsingham’s home. Cars pull over; people get out and gaze at the fetching scene. But we don’t all see the same thing. When looking at a landscape some people see a forest, others see trees. It’s the same thing in business. When looking at a problem, a challenge, an opportunity, or a conflict some people see the overview, the “grand strategy,” or the big picture while others see details. Some people are conceptual thinkers. They reach conclusions quickly because their thought processes skip intermediate steps with a “We’ll figure that out when we get there” attitude. Others are linear thinkers and methodically proceed step-to-step taking a task to its conclusion but can slow a project into a quagmire of meticulous effort. Both the conceptual and linear thinker may, but certainly not always, arrive at the same conclusion but they will get there by following very separate paths. A business needs both the conceptual view (the forest) and the detail view (the trees) in order to thrive. Very few people are both conceptual thinkers and detail thinkers so it is important to know and understand the thought processes of the people you work with. It is especially important when creating work teams to have both conceptual and detail thinkers working together so that your projects with be conceptually sound and have the details done correctly so no steps are forgotten but there is a problem: conceptuals and detailers hate working together. Big Picture folks feel that detailers bog them down in the morass of inconsequential minutia while detail oriented people feel the conceptuals overlook or bypass important steps so managing an activity to completion often requires walking a tightrope of negotiation between both camps and building consensus to keep a project moving forward without overlooking potential problems. That “scenic overview” is beautiful because of every tree, shrub, weed, rock, pebble, and butterfly. When these detail elements are assembled into a forest, it becomes a grand vision. Try and do the same with all your projects. Larry Galler coaches and consults with high-performance executives, professionals, and small businesses since 1993. Being interested in skin care, I’ve read a ton of anti aging skin care reviews. Some have useful information, others don’t. Hopefully for you this one will! Finding a review with real information on a good anti aging skin care system is not too easy, however. Although I can assure you that I’m very interested in how I look, I also know that skin care is much more than just vanity. After all, your skin is your body’s largest organ. It’s responsible not only for protecting you from the elements and infection, but it also helps your body eliminate waste products. You know, you can tell a lot about a person’s health by how their skin looks. If you improve your health, your skin will improve. But did you know the opposite is true, too? That’s right. Making real improvements in your skin’s health is reflected inside your body for a myriad number of reasons. Not the least of which is you just feel better about yourself when you look better. No anti aging skin care review would be worth it if it didn’t suggest a few lifestyle changes you can do right now that will go a long way toward improving the quality of your skin. A few of these are not getting too much sun, not getting too little sun, taking warm (not hot) baths, patting yourself dry instead of rubbing, and wearing clothing made of natural fibers. These changes and proper eating and exercise will help tremendously. But if you want to make real, turn-back-the-clock type improvements, then you’ll need to consider some of the many fine skin care products that are available. Note, I said there were a lot of good skin care products available. Well, they’re a little hard to locate because there are even more companies and products that aren’t any good. Rather they do more harm than good. Just so this “quick” anti aging skin care review is complete, let me list a few of the ingredients you really nee to see in your skin care products. Some of the best ingredients are: wakame (japanese sea weed), vitamin E (all natural, of course), manuka honey (made from the blossoms of the manuka tree), plant oils, jojoba oil, and grapeseed oil. These are powerful natural moisturizers and antioxidants that can actually start repairing the damage done to your skin on the cellular level. There are also a few things you need to look out for. Alcohols, DEA, MEA, TEA, dioxane, fragrance, and mineral oil are among a few of the worst offenders. There are completely natural, completely safe products that can do a much better job for you than these. To sum up my anti aging skin care review, here’s what you’re looking for. All natural skin care products where the majority of the product is active ingredients, not fillers. By doing a little research you should be able to locate a company which has a good anti aging skin care system that’s all natural and that actually does what it says it will do. To learn more about natural skincare, visit my website! Lee Richards is an avid health and exercise enthusiast who loves to make her research available to everyone via the Internet. Check out Lee’s website for more information about this important topic. AFTER a monthlong, $1 million renovation, Cain is finally reopening.
